Mailing postcards with professional address labels.
There are so many options when deciding on direct mailings. One of the biggest concerns is money, of course. The least expensive and most effective method I have utilized is by mailing postcards addressed to a certain group of individuals that I decide on ahead of time. You do this by finding a company that can provide you with current mailing lists/labels for your targeted area. Try looking on the internet for a good company & then calling them on the phone to discuss details. Make sure that they are right for you. They can give you address labels for customers you want to target. There is usually a $200 minimum purchase. You get to decide on the income of the customer, location, occupation, affiliations, martial status, age, gender, etc... All companies have different search criteria so look until you're satisfied. While you are waiting on the labels to arrive go ahead and start working on your postcard design & logos. Full color, glossy, double sided postcards always work best. Once you've got a few thousand mailings ready all you have to do is buy a roll of a 100 postcard stamps every time you get the chance. Make sure to monitor your calls from them and continue tweaking the details until you make the perfect postcard mailed to the perfect future customer! Hope this helps! More information is soon to come!

The most important form of advertising is......
You've heard it once, now here it again. WORD OF MOUTH is by far the most intelligent & effective form of advertising your business. Every time you perform, lets say a painting project, your customer will tell roughly 10 of their friends what kind of a job you did. Think about the power of that! I happen to know of a couple of businesses that run purely off word of mouth advertising. Could you imagine your business thriving in a down economy while never spending a dime to get customers. It's true. Small businesses do it everywhere. So be prepared before you show up. Do your homework and make sure you can deliver something that you are selling. Remember, word of mouth advertising can hurt your business, too. Come back tomorrow if you want to read about one of the best ways of getting new customers without going broke. And later this week we will be discussing ways to grow your business for FREE.
