One of the most effective ways to advertise your service business is...

Do you have a nice work shirt? Have you had a haircut recently? If you answered yes then you need to be hitting the streets. Sound scary? Don't worry, it's easy as long as you have the confidence! And knowledge breeds confidence, so those who are new to their industry may want to learn more about what they are doing first. You don't want to not be able to answer a question that your potential client may ask you as it could result in being a deal breaker. But for those of you that have the skills, knowledge & confidence need to toughen up and hit the streets by selling your service face to face with other business owners. It's a surefire way to get a few extra jobs that could lead into many other providing you do a great job first! Try to take some materials with you to leave with the person you are meeting. It will serve as a reminder of your meeting and further encourage the client to call you. Good luck & don't forget to look em' in the eye!

Mailing postcards with professional address labels.

There are so many options when deciding on direct mailings. One of the biggest concerns is money, of course. The least expensive and most effective method I have utilized is by mailing postcards addressed to a certain group of individuals that I decide on ahead of time. You do this by finding a company that can provide you with current mailing lists/labels for your targeted area. Try looking on the internet for a good company & then calling them on the phone to discuss details. Make sure that they are right for you. They can give you address labels for customers you want to target. There is usually a $200 minimum purchase. You get to decide on the income of the customer, location, occupation, affiliations, martial status, age, gender, etc... All companies have different search criteria so look until you're satisfied. While you are waiting on the labels to arrive go ahead and start working on your postcard design & logos. Full color, glossy, double sided postcards always work best. Once you've got a few thousand mailings ready all you have to do is buy a roll of a 100 postcard stamps every time you get the chance. Make sure to monitor your calls from them and continue tweaking the details until you make the perfect postcard mailed to the perfect future customer! Hope this helps! More information is soon to come!
